Inside Mount:

1. Measure the depth of the top window frame; allow at least 2 ¼ for bracket installation. For open no valance shades, the bracket attaches to the sides (either on the ceiling or wall). For cassette valance shades, the bracket attaches to the top.
2. Measure the width inside the window frame, from jamb to jamb.
3. Measure the height inside the window frame, from the top jamb to the windowsill.
4. Use the shortest width and the longest height measurements.
5. Order blinds or shades in the actual window size; no deductions needed. Our factory will already make a 1/8" width deduction. 

Outside Mount:

1. Measure and order the blind or shade to be the exact size you desire, ensuring it is both wider and taller than the window.
2. The width should be about 6 inches wider than the window (3 inches on each side) to ensure no light enters from the sides. For no valance shades, the light gap is 9/16 on each side, for a total of 1 1/8". For cassette valance shades, the light gap is 3/4" on each side, for a total of 1 1/2". If you wish to align the width to window molding, measure the window molding and add either 1 1/8" or 1 1/2".
3. The height should allow a minimum of 2 inches above the window for bracket installation. To fully clear the window when open, add 6 inches above window.

Motorization Details

• The number of remotes and chargers will depend on the number of shades, but can be adjusted upon request.
• Remotes have 1, 6 or 16 channels. Each channel can control up to 20 shades.
• Smart hubs have a range of 100'. For homes with multiple floors, one hub per floor is recommended.
